Star Trek

Further to our previous comments regarding 'Young Kirk's' appearance in the Star Trek trailer, it seems Bill Shatner feels the same way, at least according to the cleverly edited Youtube clip.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

As part of their awards push for David Fincher's tale of a backwards aging Brad Pitt, Warner Brothers have placed the entire score for the film online here .

Despite early reports of some problems with the film (particularly its running time), some early test screening reports are coming through and are almost universally positive. It looks like Button may be one of the frontrunners at the 2009 Academy Awards.

Star Trek

First shot of original Spock Leonard Nimoy from JJ Abram's Star Trek reboot. This shot comes from a slightly new version of the trailer, which appends one scene to the end of the previous version. The revised trailer can be seen over at http://www.aintitcool.com/node/39238.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Apple.com has the new trailer for the historically dubious (unless you're Sarah Palin) third Ice Age film.

Some more new Star Trek posters, showing lead villian Nero and Uhura.

Although the trailer for the film certainly indicates this will be a more action packed film than previous trek outings, the somewhat cheesy 'Young Kirk' footage has some viewers worried. However, Those who were lucky enough to view the 20 minutes or so of footage that Paramount screened to journalists last week seem confiden the film will be a success

Arrested Development

Finally some good news, with both Variety and The Hollywood Reporter reporting that creator Mitch Hurwitz has finally agreed a deal to write and direct a film version of Arrested Development. Producer Ron Howard is also on board and the main cast has previously indicated they would all return
.

Ace Ventura Jr

We may have been a bit cruel about the I Am Legend sequel, but no doubt it will be a master piece of modern cinema next to the forthcoming 'Ace Ventura Jr'. Cinematical has the trailer which is currently been played on a loop to Guantanamo Bay detainees.

The film will be appearing straight to DVD in the near future.

I Am Legend 2 : Electric Boogaloo

When it was announced that Will Smith and director Francis Lawrence were to return for a follow up to I am Legend, everyone assumed we would be talking about a prequel.

According to Aint It Cool News however this isnt the case, and we will be getting a full on sequel.

Given the ending of the original film, this seems a strange way to go, and not one that seems to have a particularly good chance of success.
