All This and World War 2...

Those who were unfortunate enough to catch last years 'Across the Universe' may have been reminded that the idea had been tried before, even less successfully, with seventies bomb 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band'.

Oddly enough, even this was not the first attempt at the idea. In the late 60's Fox briefly released 'All this and World War 2', A bizarre collection of covers of Beatles songs by contemporary artists played over archive footage of WWII.

Below is the trailer for your enjoyment. More information, together with the opportunity to buy a bootleg (unsurprisingly this has yet to see the light of day on VHS or DVD) at www.subcin.com. The site is messy as hell but theres a few other gems on there if you dig around.
