Latino Review reports that David Goyer, co-writer of The Dark Knight, has been hired to pen a reboot of the Superman franchise.Ignoring 2006's woeful Superman Returns, the new script is not intended to be an origin story and will begin with most of the key elements (Lex Luthor, Lois Lane etc.) already in place. This seems a smart idea, as there cannot be many members of the movie going public who are not already aware of the mythology surrounding the character.
