Saved by the Bell and Showgirls star Elizabeth Berkely as joined the cast of S Darko, the somewhat redundant Donnie Darko sequel that has begun production. Berkely, who at least is doing better than former co-star Justin Diamond (as anyone who has had the misfortune to see 'Screeched' can testify), will play "a speed freak-turned-Jesus freak whose sentiments about ridding the world of its exponential sin are rivaled only by her infatuation with her dreamy pastor."S Darko will be hitting a DVD bargain bin in 2009
